The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. Please Note: no toothpaste or liquid based items.

Collecting now in the Sanctuary Lobby. Labels and boxes will be provided, or you can use plastic shoe size boxes from any dollar store. Please remember to include your $10 check for shipping!
Moorpark Presbyterian Church will also be a drop off location for shoeboxes and we will need Many Wonderful Volunteers between November 17th – November 24th to assist with receiving and stocking these boxes. Please contact Debbie Lee if you have any questions, and Thank You!

Speaker: Amy Pendergraft serves as the Discipleship Pastor at Malibu Pacific Church, where she oversees discipleship for all ages and is passionate about helping local churches thrive. With over 20 years of ministry experience, Amy loves walking alongside individuals and families as they encounter God and equipping them with tools and resources to grow spiritually and live deeply connected to Christ and one another.
Before joining Malibu Pacific, Amy spent 12 years leading Family Ministries at Calvary Church of Pacific Palisades, where she built teams, developed curriculum, and empowered families to grow in faith together. She is also the co-founder of ReVibrantKids, a collection of family ministry resources designed to help families thrive spiritually. Amy lives in Malibu with her husband, Garrett, a Pepperdine professor, and their three amazing children, ages 20 to 13. She enjoys ocean adventures, coastal hikes, and coffee by the beach.
