Meet Bob, our new Deacon:
I was born and raised in Arcadia, Ca and went on to college at San Diego University where I obtained my Teaching and Educational Administrative Credentials. I was involved with the educational field for 17 years my last position being Principal of Lake Arrowhead Elementary School.
Due to my Fathers illness I left education and worked with him with our Family Real Estate business. My wife, Casey and I raised our 2 children in San Marino and we were active members of San Marino Community Church where I was an Elder and Casey was Moderator of the Deacons.
In 2009 our family lost Casey very suddenly to pancreatic cancer. We had purchased our Lemon/Avocado grove outside of Moorpark prior and our dream was to retire at the ranch. So after much family discussion we all moved to this area. I was anxious to find a church and was introduced to Moorpark Presbyterian, thankfully.
I looked forward as a Deacon to assist where is necessary and carry on with Christian endeavors.
My favorite Bible verse is John 14:12
“Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these, shall he do; because I go unto the Father”
Currently my days are active running the ranch, being on the Board of Governors for the City of Hope, and participating in the lives of my 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
