Meet Jamie, our new Missions Elder:
I am originally from Minnesota. When I was 4 my parents moved to Northern India for ministry. I spent 11 years there, including 7 at an international boarding school where my parents worked.
I met my husband, Brandon, while studying abroad in college. We have two kids, Levi and Adela, who are in 8th grade and 5th grade.
I work as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Our family has been attending MPC since 2023. One of the big things that drew us to MPC was that it is rooted in Moorpark and serves the local community. The church’s heart for missions is evident.
My favorite Bible verse is Lamentations 3:21-23
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Missions Elder at MPC.
