Holy Week – The week leading up to Easter is filled with a few different ways to worship and experience all that Christ would call people to.
Maundy Thursday – Tonight – 7:00pm
A reflective worship experience where we walk through the last night of the life of Jesus. Interactive and experiential. All are welcome.
Good Friday Hike – Friday March 29 – 9:00am
We will meet at MPC and arrive to hike to the Simi Cross together (weather permitting & if Keenan’s back is feeling better), spend time at the cross at the top in reflection and hike down the mountain together.
Easter Sunday – March 31 – 9:00am – ONE WORSHIP SERVICE
And Lent comes to a glorious close with our Easter Celebration. One service – with the whole church together. After the service will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Begin to pray about people in your neighborhood who might want to join you for church on this Sunday.MPC’s tradition of a flower cross continues this year. You are invited to bring flowers from your own garden on Easter Sunday to add to the beauty and aroma of this display. Don’t have any flowers in your yard? You can also add flowers that we will have there for you to place as well. We look forward to seeing what this beautiful arrangement will look like.
Don’t miss MPC’s first ever Bowling Ball event! This fun night is designed for Moms and Sons to make meaningful memories together while bowling and playing games. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other Moms and Sons from the community! The event will be at Moorpark Lucky Strike in their exclusive VIP area. Moms and Sons will enjoy pizza, wings and unlimited soft drinks throughout the evening. Bowling costs, shoe rental, food and drinks are all included.
Cost is $50 per pair, and $25 for each additional person. Grandma’s, Aunt’s and any other “mother figures” are welcome to attend!
Space is limited, so please register ASAP. If you have any questions, please contact Sean Meade (seanm@mpclife.org). We hope to see you there!
Local and Global Missions are important parts of MPC’s congregational DNA. All interested in learning more are welcome. This may be the perfect opportunity for you to become involved and build relationships with others in our church, community and world, as we plan ways to establish & renew partnerships.
