2021 MPC Relay for Life Team
MPC has had a steady presence at the American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay for Life for 15 years or more. It is a great way to raise money to help ACS programs and research, to honor cancer warriors and survivors, and to promote MPC in the community.
The 2021 Simi Valley/Moorpark Relay for Life will be October 16-17 (a 9am – 9am, 24-hour period) at the Simi Valley Town Center near Studio Movie Grill. Teams raise money for the ACS by getting monetary donations, getting merchandise donations for the ACS Silent Auction, by “selling” luminaries for the luminaria evening ceremony to pay tribute to someone who has been lost to cancer, is fighting cancer, and who has beaten cancer, along with other fundraising activities and efforts.
We also ask MPC members to be part of our team to help raise funds and to walk the course during the 24-hour event. Last year MPC’s team raised nearly $3,000 and our “booth” won the Best Decorated award.
