WHEN: 8:00pm Friday, March 13, 2026 – Noon Sunday, March 15, 2026
WHERE: Cambria Pines Lodge, Cambria, CA
THEME: What are you Hungry for?
Over the weekend, you’ll get a better understanding of what God wants to do in your life, why that’s for the good of you and the people around you, how He wants to do that, and your role in the process.
Every man has a hunger. What’s yours? Join us for a weekend away to remember there’s something more. Deeper. More satisfying.
We’ll reflect on John the Baptist, a man in the wilderness eating locusts and wild honey. When ancient people got away to spend time with him, they experienced more. Deep spiritual renewal. It changed their lives. Forever. Not because they met John but because he turned them to the one who alone feeds the gnawing ache in the soul of every man, Jesus. The one who said, “I am the bread of life.”
George Hinman is an ordinary guy who’s been overcome by the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Various New England institutions have attempted to educate him. And in a moment of weakness an extraordinary woman named Ann gave him her hand. Together George and Ann have followed on the heels of Jesus through many years of wonderful and fruitful ministry. First with CRU at places like Brown University and MIT. Then at Bel Air Presbyterian Church in L.A. where George served as Pastor of Discipleship. And most recently at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle where George served as Senior Pastor.
George and Ann have been raised by three (now) young adult children. George loves to ride bicycles, sail, and rescue trout from dangerous hooks. He currently spends most of his time trying to extract himself from whatever fixes he’s created.
