Ash Wednesday Service – Wednesday, February 17 – 7:00pm available in the Sanctuary and on livestream. ASL Interpreted (ASL interpreted service will be available 2/18 in the afternoon on the ‘sermons‘ page).
Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Lenten season. It marks the beginning of a reflective journey towards the Cross – and ultimately to the resurrection.
Our time together for this service is spent reflecting on our own brokenness, our acute need for a savior. Music, prayers, Scripture reading, reflection and finally the imposition of ashes all serve as reminders of our need for forgiveness and redemption.
If you will be attending the service in person, we ask that you register HERE to let us know you are coming. If you will participating from home, we will be sending out an informational video tomorrow to describe how you can get your hands on ashes to participate fully in the imposition of ashes.
In addition to the service, we are also offering three, one-hour windows of prayer. Please click HERE for the Zoom link to participate in a prayer session from 7:00-8:00am, 12:00-1:00pm or 5:00-6:00pm.
