For the month of June, the MPC staff was asked to write a piece for “The Latest” sharing two things; what we’re looking forward to this summer, and a recipe that we love to make. The first question is easy to answer! This summer I am looking forward to less covid related restrictions, and the chance to hang out with students from RENEW! It’s been a very long year, and I’m very excited to get our leaders and students together for fun and fellowship. Click HERE to see the RENEW Summer Calendar.
Now what about a recipe…? The first thing I did was a google search for “most difficult recipe to make”. Turns out beef wellington is in the top 5, maybe I should list that just for fun. But the truth is, while I love to cook, I don’t really have a “go to” recipe. For me, summer is mainly about being outside, taking it easy and grilling. So here’s a quick and easy recipe for one of my favorites.
Step One: Go to the grocery store and buy a package of hot dogs
Step Two: Go home and fire up your grill
Step Three: Put hot dogs on the grill and rotate them until they are fully cooked.
Step Four: Put hot dog on a bun, add mustard and ketchup.
Step Five: Enjoy
Have a great summer everyone!
